As soon as you get to the front door you can tell this property is unusual. The front entrance has been retiled in an attractive, slightly modernised version of the Victorian original. Passing through the front door you find yourself in the hall. To your left are the doors to the living room and the dining room and straight ahead are the stairs to the first floor. The living room is a generous 10' by 13' and has several features. The large bay window ensures lots of light all day enhanced by the warm and cheerful decor. The room has its original picture rails and the most beautiful (and fully functional) Victorian fireplace you have ever seen. The final touch is the exotic (Merbou) hardwood flooring. This beautiful wood has been used throughout most of the house, and is top quality hardwood, NOT the paper thin veneer on fibreboard you find in most houses.

The dining room is 12' by 10' 6" and has an archway to the kitchen and a glass door (to provide light) leading to the garden. Like the kitchen, the floor is newly tiled. The tiling in both rooms is solid bedded and both the adhesive and grout is waterproof and approved for swimming pools!

Going up the newly carpeted stairs you will first come to the second bedroom. This is a very spacious 13' by 8' 6" and has the hardwood flooring.

The next room is the third bedroom. This is 12' by 8' 3", so although the smallest of the bedrooms it still has plenty of room for a double bed! This room has original stripped pine floor boards rather than the hardwood flooring.

The final room on the first floor is the master bedroom. Measuring 13' by 11' this room has 2 large windows. It has a small cast iron grate which although currently only decorative, could easily be made fully functional for those cold winter nights. The spaces on either side of the chimney are perfect for large wardrobes or fitted cupboards. Like the third bedroom this also has the original stripped pine flooring.

The house also has a loft conversion with skylight and electricity. It is currently accessed via a drop down ladder.

The garden measures approximately 30 foot. It has a patio area and lawn plus a very large concrete block shed. This shed has a cement floor and a large double glazed window and could actually be used as a workroom or kids room in the summer.

The house has just been fully redecorated and is double glazed throughout, with gas to radiator central heating. It is well insulated and very economical to heat.
